About

I’ve been sewing children’s clothing for the last 15 years. I love to create with my hands and see a simple flat piece of fabric take on a life of its own as it’s turned into wearable art. I also love to do a wide variety of arts & crafts including photography, scrapbooking (regular and digital), home decor, quilting, crochet, knitting and bowmaking.

AddyWear was inspired by my 2 year old daughter, Addison. My first daughter, she has brought me to a whole new level of creativity. I love searching for special, vintage, bright or funky cottons and creating eye-catching but sturdy clothing that can be used for a long, long time and passed down after that. I particularly love to work on custom orders. It’s so fun to work with new color combinations that I might never think of and tweak patterns to bring to life a vision that isn’t mine.

Recently I’ve expanded to offer my own grab & go wristlets for Mom, grab & go activity bags for kids, felt hair clips and more. I always have new projects in the works!
