Kids Discover
Similar in content to National Geographic for Kids (above), Kids Discover is jam-packed with great informative articles about nature and our planet aimed at elementary-aged childen. My own children beg for both Discovery Kids and Nat’l Geographic Kids, so I am not sure they would agree that one replaces the other. For $26.95/ 12 issues, I don’t mind getting them both.
Zoobooks
We have been subscribers to ZooBooks for years. Every issues focuses on a different animal or animal group. My elementary-aged children adore these books and have kept every issue in a ‘library’ for reference. Their grandmother also loves them and reads each issue as well! We finally stopped getting this magazine after 3 years because the issues started repeating themselves. At just over $25 for 12 issues, this is a deal, too!
