life, love & laundry
Ok all, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, stop what you are doing right now and send prayers, positive energy, thoughts, light a candle, do a dance…whatever moves you. And send them all in Gina’s direction. They have been waiting for pretty much forever to be approved. 10 months to be exact. That is a year in the life of a child. As a point of reference, they have been waiting for approval for as long as my ENTIRE adoption process took, beginning to end. I can’t imagine how they are surviving such a wait. Trust me when I say that this is a worthy cause. So stop what you’re doing and send your positive thoughts and paryers in her direction.
And if you think I don’t believe in the power of prayer, especially based on my last post, just stop your hating! This is not the time, people! I’ll explain my spiritual take on such things another time. But I absolutely believe that we can move mountains if we join together. So just do it. These boys need to come home.
Thanks Kelly for organizing such a thing. Great idea.
I am joining in on this. I believe in the power of prayer!

Ten months! I can’t even imagine that kind of wait. I’ll definitely include Gina in my prayers.

All of my prayers will be going toward Gina! Oh, and Sienna’s socks came from Old Navy

okay, seriously, your entire adoption process took ten months?!?! that blows my mind. anyway, i’m glad so many people are thinking of gina and her family. they are amazing people and they need to bring their boys home. i needed to be institutionalized at nine months, so i don’t know how gina is holding on. btw, i’m looking forward to hearing about your spiritual beliefs. i love learning about others’ belief systems. i owe you an email. i promise i’ll get to it. sooo behind, like usual.

Nicki, thank you. In the middle of your own literal storm, I’m just blown away that you’re thinking of me. I’m overwhelmed and grateful. Thank you.
