Book Meme
Oh thank goodness for Chris tagging me today to do this book meme. I’ve never been so thankful for a Meme before. I have been searching for something worth blogging about all day and have come up empty. Man, this posting daily business is harder than I thought it would be. And also? It makes for lots of blog reading, right? 10 days left!
So the Meme:
1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open it to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
My sentence:
As a general rule, if I’m using continuous lighting (like the Westcott Spiderlites), I always take this extra internal diffusion panel out.
Gripping reading, huh? The book is The Digital Photography book, Vol 2 by Scott Kelby. I can’t remember if I blogged about it before but it is my all time favorite photography book. I totally bought it randomly on sale at Borders over the summer and I just adore it. I have had or checked out from the library MANY digital photography books that are all just too complicated or too simple. This one is PERFECT although admittedly that isn’t very representative by the above sentence :) Since I bought it randomly, I have NO idea if Volume 1 is as awesome but I’d like to find out!!
