A Blogpost Year In Review
December 31, 2008
Remember this meme? I do it every year and hope you’ll do it too! It’s fun to look back on a year in review this way :) You just take the first sentence from the first blog post in each calendar month of 2008 that you posted and reprint it:
- Ha – after rambling on and on about this past year and last year, I forgot to look ahead!
- After getting about 7 million requests for this pattern, I finally found what appears to be the last spare diaper in our house so I threw together the very very remedial pattern for you all.
- Yesterday I did the Texas Two Step with a few hundred thousand other Texans.
- Addison now says “I need….”. As in “I need dat backpack (of Noah’s that he is using right now and contains expensive electronics that should not be touched by 1 year old fingers)” and “I need you lap” and other definite wants, not needs.
- The night after my birthmom dream, I had another odd dream.
- You know, I’ve heard people say that as you get older, you become more relaxed and laid back about certain things.
- I’ve been lucky in 13 years of kid activities not to really run into any stage parent types.
- today was a very short driving day.
- If you are like me, you are watching the weather and reading the political blogs, interchangeably.
- It is no new news that liberals will vote for the more liberal candidate and conservatives will vote for the conservative candidate.
- Happy 14th birthday, Dalton!
- Generally speaking, I try to stay out of the upper half of our house.
You can read my 2007 here and my 2006 here.
So there is my 2008 in a nutshell. I think, absent the lost jobs and financial woes, this summed it up pretty darned well! :)

I do remember you doing that last year, it’s fun to read – perhaps I’ll get a few moments of quiet and motivation at the same time (ha, unlikely) and pull it together for my blog too!

Fun! I wish I had a whole year’s worth of blogs to do it with. Maybe next year!
