life, love & laundry
Usually I post on Thursdays but since the month ended yesterday, I thought I’d post the rest of my white pictures. Boy I fizzled out on the white! I had really wanted to go out with a bang but was totally uninspired.
29/365: We went to PeiWei for Vietnamese Lantern Day. Noah and Addy ate their entire meal with chopsticks and let me tell you, Addy ate a TON of low mein and chicken. It felt like we were there for HOURS. I took my camera but forgot my memory card so the iPhone had to suffice. HATE the iPhone camera.
30/365: Today was errand-running day. That always means stopping for Arbys since we don’t have one near our home. Tony loves Arbys. I love soda. Oh the soda addiction, how it rules my life. Again. I refuse to buy it to keep in the house but man-oh-man, I can think of any number of excuses to feed my addiction anyway.
31/365: A good friend and I went to crash a “How to adopt in Haiti” local event but it had been rescheduled and we missed it. I had to shop to reduce the disappointment :) New book! Looks awesome, got great reviews, I cannot wait to dive in. On another note – I am getting a lot of mileage out of this red wall, huh? I love it! And I am going to paint it, soon, to a very VERY different color. So enjoy it while it lasts :)
So that’s it! Can you believe 1/12 of the year is over? It is going WAY too fast but I love this project. It is crazy looking back on this month. Seeing all that happened really makes me feel like our month was SO full, even while it went by in the blink of an eye.
Here’s my white month (randomly generated). Cool right? I think it will be even cooler when I have each month lined up next to each other. The color contrasts will be more apparent.
So now onto pink month! Hurrah!!!
wow, lovin the project and that book looks super interesting…

I love what you did with white. The lo mein is my favorite…I thin because I’m hungry :)
You’ll have to tell me all about that book sometime.

Very cool!
So wish I could crash one of those events. I love that you were going to do it.

What a lovely collage! I bet a book of them all will be cool.
Was this a ‘how to adopt from Haiti now that there has been a calamity and we can try and rush through and grab kids’ event? I wish I could crash one.

Yes it was that kind of event exactly! So gross!

Nicki,
What did you use to generate the random order of the photos?
I agree with KerryAnne, this would be so cool as a book at the end of the year.

@Laureen, I’m sure there’s a better way but I just used the flickr set, it randomly generates the gallery view. Then I saved a screenshot and cropped it so just the gallery was left. Totally convoluted. I am sure there is a better way.
I know you can use some flickr plugins to do a random gallery but they won’t create a gallery larger than 36 pictures and I had 37.

LOVE the collage. I like your view of a white theme. I can’t wait to see the whole year collages. What fun. :)
