365 – Month 2, Week 1

It’s pink month! And I got my camera back right in time to start. I swear there is something off about my camera’s focus but I’m not willing to part with it again so I’m just making due.

32/365: Nothing exciting going on today other than I have my camera. My puppy is getting SO big. She went back to the vet this week for her second round of antibiotics, this time to treat a bacterial skin infection likely caused by her lowered immune system during her first round of illness. Should be smooth sailing from here on out though.  And we finished off the last of our awesome gourmet cinnamon marshmallows.

33/365 : These chalkboard markers are so cool. Addy loves them. She can make much more detailed pictures like this funny stoplight picture she worked on. You can’t see it in this photo but there is a green “go” light, a red “stop” light and a yellow “slow” light.

34/365 : We got new books! Yay! I love it when our Scholastic book order comes. Lots of good Valentines Day books this month.

35/365: It’s dance day! And then our Mommy-Daughter Donut Date. Yummo. Expect lots of pictures like this every Thursday this month.  (she has glitter in her hair, in case you were wondering! :))

36/365: Today’s weather was soooo perfect. 60’s and sunny. We played outside a lot and Addy helped me build our new patio set. So we had to go celebrate with ice cream. Baskin Robbins has my very very favorite ice cream flavor right now: Love Potion No. 31. It is sooo good and seasonal.

37/365: Today Tony took us all to see the Harlem Globetrotters. It was so much fun! All the kids loved it! And of course it wasn’t a basketball game without cotton candy!

38/365: Superbowl Sunday! This year we were sort of split up. Tony and I decided to stay home due to my early work schedule the next day but the bigger kids had a few party invitations so we didn’t see them until after the game. We had to shop and pick up some fruit trays at HEB (flowers are from HEB). And of course it wasn’t football without alcohol :)

Jenny, http://www.amazon.com/NeoChalk-Liquid-Chalk-Marker-Tip-Set/dp/B0019FJQOQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=office-products&qid=1265676829&sr=8-1 or just search for chalk markers on Amazon. They are expensive but last and are awesome and non-toxic and no more worries about nasty toxic chalk dust or my puppy eating them!

circles with arms is approximately …oh…circles with arms better than my three boys did before they were 5!! LOL That is awesome!
